original username blocked
[edit]- This is often not a reflection on the user, and you are encouraged to choose a new account name which does meet our guidelines and are invited to contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. If you feel this block was made in error, you may quickly and easily appeal it - see below.
Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username. In brief, usernames should not be offensive, disruptive, promotional, related to a 'real-world' group or organization, confusing, or misleading.
If you have already made edits and wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name you may request a change in username. To do so, please follow these directions:
- Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
- At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use. The account is created upon acceptance – do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change since we can far easier allocate your new name to you, if it is not yet used. Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username. Keep in mind, though, that creating a new account is much faster and easier.

Hi Forgetful, I have reset the block parameters on this account so you can now create a new account - sorry for missing that before. The reason I blocked your account was because your username is so long and random, its very hard for other editors to communicate with you effectively. Your contributions to Wikipedia are valued, so I encourage you to either request a rename of this account (which I can help with) or simply start a new account with a shorter name. Thanks, Gwernol 13:54, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
hi, I'd like to change my username to forgetful5434, i hope that it is less confusing than the longer one, if it is, then how about forgetful5? I tend to use "forgetful54341087097153001984" for all my internet accounts because there's very little chance that it will already be taken, also i find my hotmail account doesn't get loads of spam because no spammers guess my address. I wasn't trying to confuse anyone, sorry for the inconvenience. I'd like to keep the edits I made under a single user account, and would prefer not to simply create a new account. I hope that isn't too much extra work for you to help me out on this. Thankyou
{{unblock-auto|1=87.194.78.179|2=Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Forgetful54341087097153001984". The reason given for Forgetful54341087097153001984's block is: "

The article Monster cat has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non notable band.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tinton5 (talk) 23:58, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
